Each year the UHCC hosts this highly anticipated banquet dinner to honor distinguished business professionals and organizations that have made significant, positive contributions to the Hispanic community. Awards are bestowed in several categories: Business Owner of the Year, Business Person of the Year (nonowner), Rising Star, and Organization or Institution of the Year Award. The banquet culminates with the presentation of our top honor, the Lifetime Achievement Award. Each winner receives an authentic, one-of-a kind Don Quixote statue commissioned by highly renowned local artist, Guillermo Colmenero.
