The Utah Office of Ethnic Affairs
The Office of Ethnic Affairs (OEA) works with all state agencies on the needs of Asians, Blacks, Hispanic/Latinos, and Pacific Islanders. At this webpage, you may subscribe to listservs for information about ethnic events or policy issues affecting minorities.


Asian, Black, Hispanic/Latino & Pacific Islander Ethnic Affairs Advisory Councils
This webpage links to the Advisory Councils representing Asians, Blacks, Hispanics/Latinos and Pacific Islanders, as well as lists of community-based organizations serving these groups.


National Center on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NCMHD)
NCMHD is part of the U.S National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland. This office funds and supports research related to ethnic and racial minority health.


The Utah Indian Health Advisory Board
The Utah Indian Health Advisory Board (UIHAB) advises the Utah Department of Health on issues related to Native Americans who are tribal members.


Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Office of Minority Health

U.S. Government Ethnic Health Offices
Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Office of Minority Health This office, located in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services near Washington D.C., funds and assists state offices of minority health, including the Center for Multicultural Health at the Utah Department of Health. Its website offers information on U.S. minority groups, health disparities, cultural competence, and national initiatives to improve minority health.
