Patricia Quijano Dark is the Executive Director of the Utah Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. She is also one of the proud founders of DIA, Salt Lakes first Dual Immersion elementary school. Patricia is a journalist by trade and prior to joining the Chamber she was a freelance writer and editor of Mundo Hispano, a weekly spanish language paper in SL. She lived in Buenos Aires for 12 years where she was new Project editor for Clarín, the worlds largest spanish language newspaper in the World. She also lived in England for many years where she worked on publications like Marie Clarie and Homes & Gardens. A native New Yorker and daughter of an Argentine diplomat, Patricia loves to travel and spend time with her British husband, journalist Stephen Dark, and her two young Argentine daughters, Elizabeth and Kathryn who attend DIA.
